At the request of the project Co.So! - Artists for social purposes, I created the digital sculpture for the city of Palmanova. The city of Palmanova is designed with an interesting star-shaped plan, which allows you to imagine various symbolic forms, from the external walls of the defensive wall or of the canals to the central hexagon that marks the main square. The elasticity of the geometry in the plan therefore allows you to work on different geometric variations. This gives us a new combination of different geometric bodies that I matched with the form of a butterfly. According to the Aztec tradition, the butterfly embodies the soul. The Aztecs believed that a butterfly playing among the flowers depicts a warrior who fell on the battlefield. Palmanova was not built as a real city, it was built as a military fortress. Metulj 0.1 is the urban spirit.
