Video duration: 01:04:05. Inspired by Bruce Nauman's Mapping the Studio, I placed the camera inside my studio but, rather than filming what happened within, recorded a view of the outside. The window served as a large transparent screen showing an inventory of the street, paired with the sounds from inside the studio. The title was taken from a section of Jacques Roubaud's La forme d'une ville change plus vite, hélas, que le cœur des humains.
